Scott Wentz Obituary

Scott C. Wentz, 60, Topeka, KS, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021.
He was born April 27, 1960 to Donald and Florence (Sorenson) Wentz.
He was an avid sports fan who followed his beloved San Francisco Giants and 49ers. Scott also enjoyed music, movies, television and spending time with his family and friends. He was very friendly and loved talking with everyone he met about any subject.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Wentz; and brother, Kip Wentz.
Survivors include his son, David Scott of Topeka, KS; his mother, Florence Wentz, of Turlock, CA; his friend and caretaker, Deborah DeCavit of Topeka, KS; and his nieces, Elizabeth Snyder and Sarah Wentz-Hannum both of Brookings, OR. Scott also leaves behind many other relatives and friends whom he dearly loved.
Scott was a member of the Kansas Cremation Service.
