Obituary
Earl J. Turner, 75, Cameron, Missouri, died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Born July 15, 1929 in St. Joseph, Missouri he lived in Cameron for most of his life.
He married Delores Joan Bradford on July 17, 1949 in Cameron, Missouri. She survives of the home.
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his parents, Willard M. and Susan M. (McCabe) Turner, his stepmother, Clara Scott and his sister, Dorothy Miller.
A farmer for 43 years, he was also employed at Chapman Dairy, Hetro Gas, was a bus driver and custodian for the Cameron School District. He also worked at the Joe Sueferling Mid-American Dairy Company. He also held other positions in various fields of work.
He was a member of the I.O.O.F Lodge and was of Christian faith. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed giving his great grandchildren rides on his golf cart. He was a great lover of nature and wildlife. He could spend hours just looking out of the window.
The Family would like to thank the staff of Heartland Regional Medical Center, the staff of Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron ambulance service, Cameron Home Health, Maxicare, and friends and neighbors of Cameron Housing Authority. A special thank you is directed to all friends, Gambro Healthcare, and the Cameron Police Department.
Additional Survivors: his son, Jerry and his wife Linda of Weatherby, Missouri; eleven sisters, Alice Peek of St. Joseph; Louise Kepner of Hemple, Missouri; Beatrice Teaney of Cosby, Missouri; Bonnie Williams of Horton, Kansas; Judy Weir of St. Joseph; Pam Nixon of Davenport, Illinois; Wanda Hernandez of St. Joseph; Betty Hodge of Marietta, Kansas; Rita Raines of Hutchinson, Kansas; Carolyn Studna of Kansas City, Missouri; and Lucy Taylor of Kansas City, Missouri; one brother, James Turner of Stewartsville, Missouri; 2 grandchildren, Tammy Tipton and Betsy Pollard of Cameron, Missouri; and 6 great grandchildren.
Graveside services and inurnment will be held at Cameron Memory Gardens 2:00 P.M. Sunday. Mr. Turner has been cremated under the direction of Missouri Cremation Services.
