1937-2024

Ruth Anne Alley, 87, Lawrence, Kansas, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024.
She was born August 29, 1937 to Norman and Ina (Guess) Snow in Albany, Missouri.
She married Vern Larry Lon Alley on May 30, 1955.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and husband; siblings, Max Snow and Bonnie Dean Wenzel. She leaves behind a loving family including her children, Deborah Henning, Norma Douglas (Steven), and Vern Alley (Karen); grandchildren, Jason, Anne, Bryan, Cody, Amber, Ashley, Steven, and Mari; as well as 28 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.
Ruth found great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and was an active member of the Senior Citizen Group in Lenexa, Kansas. Her love for travel and reading also filled her days with joy and fulfillment.
Ruth Anne Alley was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Rev City Church in Lawrence, Kansas. Online guestbook and obituary at www.missouricremation.com.
