1942-2016
Roy Jackson Roper, 73, born July 18, 1942 passed away on June 16, 2016. Roy was born in Leeds Alabama to Juanita Owen Roper Burt and Alburn Roper.
Roy was a 12 year veteran of the US Air force, a member of the Masonic Lodge and a member of the Richmond Assembly of God Church.
Preceding him in his death were wife Elisabeth Roper and sister Sarah French.
He is survived by his fiancé Kathy Rains of Richmond Mo., sister Wanda McCoy of KC.Mo., brother Tom Burt and wife Pam of Collinsville, Al., Larry French wife Mary, Terry French daughter Tara, Jackie French son Justin, Gladys Mays, Gary Mays, Sharron and John Beaird, children Shelly and Jeff Krogman and children Samantha, Jessie, Aden and Annabel, John Beaird Jr, Christine and Richard Dalton children Johnathon and Alisia, Katherine Harding children Mike and Michele Harding sons Matthew, Nathan and Jacob. and other relatives and many many friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life on June 25 at 1:00 pm at the Richmand Assembly of God Church in Richmond Mo. Please come and join us in celebrating Roy's life. Mr. Roper was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service.
