Robert E. Thompson, 77, Kidder, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022.
He was born April 3, 1945 in Kansas City, Kansas, to Joseph and Grace (Dwyer) Thompson.
He married Georgia Douthit on August 15, 1974. She survives of the home.
Robert served his country for three years in the U.S. Navy.
He worked on the assembly line at the Ford Motor Company and retired in 2002 after 31 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Grace Thompson; brother, John Thompson; sister, Rafaelle Thompson; sister-in-law, Kathy Thompson and brother-in-law, Woods Bowman.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Georgia; daughters, Rebecca Russell (Chris) of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Jennifer Senter (Steve) of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, CJ Russell of Lee’s Summit, MO, Taylor Russell of Overland Park, KS, and Madeline Ahlrichs of Kansas City, MO; siblings, Michele Thompson of Chicago, IL, Gabrielle Thompson-Weaver (Larry) of Manhattan, KS, Vincent Thompson of Fayetteville, TN; Daniel Thompson of Brooklyn, NY, and Marie Thompson of Kansas City, MO.
