Norma Lee Ellis, 80, St. Joseph, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 30, 1925 in Lamoni, Iowa, she lived in St. Joseph, Missouri most of her life.
On December 1, 1976, she married Frank James Ellis, who survives of the home.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay Ellington and Carrie Louise (Tallman) Lamb; a son-in-law, Ronnie Richardson; and her siblings, Kathryn LaPlante, Ruth Shaline, Marie Schenk, Alberta Berry, Theodore Tallman and Paul Lamb.
(Additional Survivors:) daughter, Sheila Richardson; her grandchildren, Ronnie Richardson, Jr., Angela Richardson, and Rosanna Cline, all of St. Joseph, Missouri; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Ellis was a member of Missouri Cremation Services.
