Nellie Eileen (Goff) Jackson
1935-2017
Nellie Eileen (Goff) Jackson, 81, Pleasant Valley, Missouri, loving mother, grandmother, wonderful grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend to many ,entered into the Lord’s presence on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at 7:42 a.m. at the home, surrounded in love by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George (Gene) Jackson; parents, Charles Leslie and Jesse Marie Goff; brother, Charles Goff and sister, Onoto Slattery.
She leaves behind two sisters; Norma Lee VanBecelaere and Dorothy Elder; three sons, Michael, Lloyd and Lee Jackson, and daughter Kim Higgins and her husband John; 11 grandchildren, Courtney and Bill Bolek, Jennifer and Jason McDowell, John Earl and Amber Higgins, Shanna and Jason Lewis, Jaci, Trevor and Jared Jackson; 11 great grandchildren, Jace, Emma Lewis, Andrew, Hannah Bolek, Kiana, Hailey and Marcus McDowell, and Jaxon, Jadyn, Addie and Hendrix Higgins; and many nieces and nephews.
Nellie leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, gentleness, and selflessness. Nellie’s sweet smile and gentle spirit will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was a special lady who focused on the good in everyone she knew and truly loved unconditionally. We thank God for such a wonderful gift.
