Neil D. Robinson, 90, Hamilton, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Neil was born December 2, 1922 in Kansas City, Kansas to Dallas and Edna (Thompson) Robinson.
He graduated in 1941 from Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, Kansas. On July 3, 1942 he joined the US Navy and served three and a half years. Part of that time was spent in the South Pacific.
On August 1, 1942 he married Phyllis Hodges in Kansas City, Kansas. He was married to his true love for 70 years. To this union two sons were born, Jeff and Steve.
Neil was a member of Hamilton Methodist Church and the American Legion Post 285 of Hamilton, Missouri and a former member of the Lions Club and the Hamilton Township Board.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Survivors: wife, Phyllis, of the home; two sons, Jeff Robinson (Barbara), Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Steve Robinson (Pam), Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services: 1:30 P.M. Saturday, February 9, Hamilton United Methodist Church Family Life Center. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Hamilton Methodist Church, Hamilton, Missouri. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service
