Nancy Ann Chorman
1932-2024
Nancy Ann Chorman, 92, St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024.
She was born on February 1, 1932, in Painesville, Ohio to Floyd Allen and Ila Jeanette (Tyler) Billig. She graduated from Painesville High School.
Nancy married Ronald Ray Chorman on May 22, 1951, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was a member of the VFW, Diamond Garden Club, RSVP, Schmitt Music Club, Shepherds Center of Greater St. Joseph, and Three Angels Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Nancy enjoyed crafts, gardening, music, her button-hook collection, sketching and playing the organ. In her younger years, she was an avid skier, skater and bowler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Ray Chorman; siblings, Floyd Billig Jr., William Billig, Avis Hilston, James Billig, and John Billig; and her children, Mark Chorman, Michael Ray Chorman, and Rona Kay Chorman.
Survivors include her son, Dale Chorman (Dianne SpenceChorman); grandchildren, James Chorman, Matthew Chorman and Nathan Spence-Chorman; and siblings, Janet New, and Karen Layman.
