Michael Dale Carter, 61, St. Joseph, Missouri died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
He was born January 21, 1951 to Loris Dale and Wilma Darlene (Koons) Carter, Sr.
He worked in construction as a drywaller and was co-owner of Ferris Wheel Restaurant in Savannah.
Mr. Carter loved fishing and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lora Lynn Wright.
Survivors: Son, Shawn Michael Carter, Franklin, Tennessee; daughter, Michelle Carter, Colorado Springs, Colorado; two brothers, Mark Carter (Mona) and Dale Carter (Tammy); grandson, Jaxton Carter; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friend, Annie Snapp.
Mr. Carter was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service. The Family suggests memorial gifts to the Missouri Conservation Department.
