Melvin "Tom" Bomar, 82, St. Joseph, Missouri, went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 30, 2007 at a local health care facility.
Mr. Bomar was born October 1, 1924, in Fillmore, Missouri.
He was farmer and did construction.
Mr. Bomar was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Fleeta (Wright) Bomar; a brother; and a sister.
(Survivors:) six children, Bobby Bomar Guilford, Missouri, Danny Bomar, Alva Bomar both of Stewartsville, Missouri, Tina Marrs, Osborn, Missouri, Terry Bomar, Garlinton, Texas and Shirley Metheny, Omaha, Nebraska; 14 grandchildren; three foster children; seven great grandchildren; and sister, Zella Hilsenbeck, Maryville, Missouri.
He was a member of Missouri Cremation Services. Mr. Bomar has been cremated.
(Graveside Services and Inurnment:) 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Filmore Cemetery, Filmore, Missouri.
