John E. Glover, 85, Overland Park, KS passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Kansas City Hospice House.
Mr. Glover was born on September 12, 1923 in Topeka, KS, the son of Walter and M. Louise (Pontius) Glover who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a nephew.
He married Marie Glover on December 8, 1965. She survives of the home.

Morgan, Cameron, MO and Joe Morgan (Stephanie) Hamilton, MO; grandchildren, Annie, Maggie, Jimmy, Laura, Dylan, Decker and Josie; sisters, Marilyn Matthesen (Ben), Kiawah Island, SC and Virginia Kane (E. Kent), Colorado Springs, CO; sister-in-law, Betsy Alsop; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Glover was a graduate of Topeka High School and Kansas University, Lawrence, KS where he was a member of PHI PSI Fraternity. During World War II, John served four years with the U.S. Navy. He was a sales manager for Celotox Corporation until his retirement.
Services 12:00 P.M. Saturday, St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, 12251 Antioch Road, Overland Park, KS. The Family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the Family suggests memorial gifts to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Overland Park, KS, Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care or a charity of donor's choice.
