John Lawrence Obituary

John A. Lawrence, 62, Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025.
He was born May 19, 1963 to James M. and Betty J. (Cunningham) Lawrence in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Eventually moving to Leavenworth, Kansas where he made his home.
John married Kay (Kell) on January 30, 1982 beginning a partnership that would last nearly 44 years.
February 1982 John enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served for 10 years as a Food Service Specialist. After completing his military service, he began a new career at a battery factory where he worked until his retirement.
John enjoyed watching football, fishing, and spending time with his family, and friends. He especially loved taking walks with his 3 dogs Auggie, Jax, and Saia who brought him great Joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents James M. and Betty J. Lawrence; Son in law, William J. Lowe.
John is Survived by his wife, Kay; daughter, Kyle Lowe; grandson, Maverick Lowe; and siblings, Vicki A. Newton, Robert K. Paige, James C. Lawrence, Gary M. Lawrence, Robin L. Lawrence, and David E. Lawrence.
