Jerry Lee Cunningham, 73, St. Joseph, died Tuesday, December 1, 2009.
He was born July 18, 1936 in St. Joseph, where he was a life long resident. He is the son of Donald James and Helen Louise (Phillip) Cunningham. He served in the United States Navy. Jerry married Janice Marie Grooms on July 23, 1970.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Donald William and Robert Eugene Cunningham.
He worked for Lehr Construction Company.
Jerry loved cracking and picking walnuts and loved having fun with his friends.
(Survivors:) his wife; Janice; three daughters, Tanda Lewis and husband, Mike, Carolyn Cunningham and Velvet Cunningham all of St. Joseph; five grandchildren, Corey, Ashlie, Courtnie and Terence Cunningham and Rondell Crosley; three sisters, Charollete Callaway, Nell May Veale and Edith McNett all of St. Joseph; several nieces and nephews.
