Jean Marie (Lityma) Edwards
1945-2021

Jean Marie (Lityma) Edwards, age 75, of Independence, Mo., passed away on March 25, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy (Bill) Edwards; her parents, John and Lorene Lityma; and brother, John R. Lityma.
She is survived by her stepson, William Edwards, and his wife, Julie; sister, Lori Dahl; brother, Joseph M. Lityma, and wife, Patricia; brother, Thomas J. Lityma, and wife, Debbie. Jean had two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jean worked as an accountant for many years. She was an avid reader, pet lover and loved to play cards. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local animal shelter. She will be missed greatly.
A small graveside service will be held at a later date at Fort Richardson National Cemetery in Anchorage, Alaska, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Billy. Jean was a member of Missouri Cremation Services. Online guestbook and obituary at www.missouricremation.com.
