Janice Morasch Obituary

Janice D. Morasch, age 74, of Basehor, Kansas, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Jan was born on April 13, 1952 to Robert and Dolores (Flaggard) Sledd. She was known for her strength, tenacity, and love for her family. She brought joy to those around her through her generous spirit, compassionate heart, and sense of humor.
She enjoyed being outside, gardening, and reading a good mystery. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her mother Dolores Smith; sisters, Sandra Wise and Patrica VanBuren; her son, Chris Davis; granddaughter, Alexa Davis; and great-grandson, Jaxon Davis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Sledd; and sister, Cora Johnson.
Jan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
