James "Jim" G. Goodwin, 75 Kansas City, Missouri passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital
He was born July 20, 1939 in Newport, Kentucky
He married Gail Emily Bernitt on October 10, 1959 in Dayton Kentucky. She survives of the home.
Mr. Goodwin was preceded in death by his parents Jimmy Goodwin and Margaret (Goodwin) Hudson
Jim's greatest joy was his family. He was survived by:
His brother John R Goodwin and sister Sharon Hudson.
He is also survived by his children and their spouses:
Marcy and Tim Mudd, Jeffrey and Sheryl Goodwin and Jennifer and Bill Haughenbery
Grandchildren: Madeline Mudd, Kelsey Cooper (and husband Jonathan), Cody Goodwin, Alec Goodwin, Erik Goodwin, Corbin Haughenberry, Justin Haughenberry (and fiancée Christina Circo) Great Grandchildren Bayleigh Cooper, Raden Cooper, Tyson Cooper and Sawyer Haughenberry
James was the founder of Complete Home Concepts in 1977.
James was very active in the Kansas City Homebuilding Industry, leading the Associates Council of the KC Home Builders Association and as a member of the Associates Council of the National Association of Home Builders.
Jim's wishes were to not have a formal service. The family asks for fond memories and condolences be mailed to Gail Goodwin C/O Complete Home Concepts 4380 Belgium Blvd Riverside, Mo 64150.
