Gary Wilk Obituary

Gary Thomas Wilk, 78, Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021.
He was born September 29, 1942 in Leavenworth, Kansas, to Paul and Veva (Moberly) Wilk.
Gary married Mary Ann Givens on March 29, 1974 in Leavenworth. She survives of the home.
He worked at the Basehor-Linwood and DeSoto School Districts for 16 years. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert, Richard, Wayne, and Phil Wilk; sisters, Paula Wickizer and Sandy Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; daughters, Kandi, Abby and Bridget Brooks; grandsons, Jarrod and Jayson Brooks; two granddaughters; and great-granddaughter, Bailey Brooks.
Gary was a member of the Kansas Cremation Service. Inurnment will be at Bethel Cemetery, Springdale, Kansas, at a later date. Online guestbook and obituary at www.kansascremation.com.
