1940-2025
Edward F. Hardesty, 84, of Weston, Missouri passed away on March 10, 2025 in Steelville, Missouri.
Born October 9,1940 to parents James Donald Hardesty and Helen Lorraine Yates Hardesty.
Edward graduated from West Platte High School in Weston and served his country during the Vietnam conflict.
On May 10, 1965 Edward married Mary Kathleen Driskell and they made Weston their home where they raised their daughter Heather. Edward retired from TWA/American Airlines after many dedicated years of employment.
Edward was a loving husband and father and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who genuinely loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Leaving behind daughter, Heather Hardesty-Miller; and Michael(Rolla, MO); grandson, Richard Miller (Weston, MO); sister Donna Sue Hardesty (Kansas City, MO); niece Paulette Shouse and Benny Cline (Weston, MO); cousin Jennifer Yates (Tucson, AZ) and a sister in law Patricia Driskell (Weston, MO).
Edward will be missed by many. A remembrance service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
