Earl Mitchel Briant, 68, Hardin, MO, died Friday, May 22, 2009 in his home.
Earl was born October 22, 1940 in Ray County, MO, the son of Vernon and Helen Briant. He married Leona Perez on December 17, 1961 in Liberty, MO. She preceded him in death in 2006.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son, Lonnie Lee Briant.
Earl was a graduate of Richmond High School and a veteran of the US Navy. He was an equipment operator and a lifelong trucker.
He was a Richmond Master Mason, Knight Templer and a member of the Ararat Shrine.
(Survivors:) daughters, Sonya Surbaugh, Hardin, MO and Margo
Dickey (Terry), Richmond, MO; son Jeff Briant (Joy), Richmond, MO; grandchildren, T. J. Briant, Lonnie Briant, Kimber Briant, Joseph Briant, Derrick Briant, Lindsay Dickey, Landon Dickey (Kristen Lee) and Jake Dickey; great grandchildren, Tegan Briant and Cadric Dickey; and sister, Pat Dunwoodie (Richard), Camden, MO.
Mr. Briant was a member of the Missouri Cremation Services.
