Dolores Darlene Miller, Stanberry, Missouri - Pine View Manor, formerly of King City, Missouri was born August 14, 1932 to parents Alan and Rosalee Wise. Darlene peacefully passed away May 24, 2025 at the age of 92.
Darlene worked at King City Manor for over twenty years and received many awards for her dedicated service to the residents of King City Manor and she was truly adored by her community. Anyone who knew her would say that Darlene was a very strong woman and the rock of her family, she had a joyful spirit, with a kind and loving soul. Darlene was such an amazing woman and was very devoted to her family.
Darlene loved music and dancing, family dinners, celebrating holidays and birthdays with her family and enjoying life. Darlene and her late husband Ernest also raised a garden every year which Darlene took great pride and joy in.
Darlene was preceded in death by her late husband Ernest J. Miller, her parents Alan and Rosalee Wise, daughters Patricia, Brenda, and Lisa, as well as sons John, Michael, and Matthew, along with daughter-in-law Nina Brown life partner of Mark Miller and great granddaughter Anndora Melton daughter of Alex Melton.
Darlene is Survived by her children Trina (Robin) Roberts of King City, Mark Miller of Stanberry, and DeeLauna Melton of Stanberry. Along with her grandchildren Justin (Darcy) Roberts of Buford, GA., Clint (Candy) Roberts of King City, Sarah (Scott) Williams of Stanberry, Beck VanHorne (Michael Bowen) of Bethany, Travis Melton of Stanberry, Alex Melton of Mexico, MO, Mike (Sherri) Miller of King City, Amanda (Zachary) Weddle of King City, Matti (Troy) Hardin of Gentry, and Emily Davis of Grant City.
Darlene is also survived by many great grandchildren; Kenzington and Kymberlynn Roberts daughters of Justin and Darcy Roberts. Bubba, Jesse, and Judd Roberts sons of Clint and Candy Roberts. Treston and Braelyn Williams children of Sarah and Scott Williams. GraceLynn & HaiLynn Gillip and Jase VanHorne children of Beck VanHorne, Ashton Stanford son of Travis Melton. Chase, LaTeala, Alexis, and Parker Melton children of Alex Melton. Owen and Vincent Miller sons of Mike and Sherri Miller. Evie and Waylon Weddle children of Amanda and Zachary Weddle.
