Clarence Junior "Malcolm" Benne, 85, Platte City, Missouri, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at a local health care facility.
Mr. Benne was born December 19, 1921, in Kansas City, Missouri, and has lived in Old Northeast, Kansas City, Missouri and Platte County, Missouri. He married Joanne Hubbard August 10, 1957, who survives of the home. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
He was the manager of Graphic Arts for Trans World Airlines.
Mr. Benne was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Calvin Benne and Selma Elizabeth (Henderson) Johnson; his first wife, Gloria Matson; and son, Bartles Lance Benne.
(Additional Survivors:) three sons, Clinton Benne and his wife Lynn of Kansas City, Missouri, Michael J. Benne of Parkville, Missouri, and Vincent Benne and his wife LaDonna of Platte City, Missouri; and six grandchildren, Kenneth, Joseph, and Elise Benne of Platte City, Kimberly Hawkins, Karen Pickett both of Austin, Texas, and Bartles Benne of Lake Wiley, South Carolina.
Mr. Benne will be cremated under the direction of Missouri Cremation Services.
