Charles King Obituary

Charles “Fred” King, 90, Hamilton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023.
He was born April 25, 1933 in Winigan, Missouri to Charles Henry and Lurah Faye (Harris) King.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Fred married Lois Yvonne Mayes on May 26, 1957. She survives of the home.
He was a mail clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 29 years. He was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals Fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clyde, Archie, Dale and George King; sisters, Geraldine Boone Dye, Doreen White, Julia King, and Hazel Ahart.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lois; children, Terry W. King (Carrie Scott) of Kansas City, Missouri, Shelly Maldonado of Omaha, Nebraska, and Von King of Hamilton, Missouri; grandchildren, Philip Ausherman (Jenny) and Wade Maldonado, both of Omaha, Nebraska; great-granddaughter, Ahna Ausherman.
Celebration of Life will be held July 22,2023 in Hamilton, MO. Fred was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Comfort Care Hospice. Online guestbook and obituary at www.missouricremation.com.
