Charles E. Bennett, 79, Gladstone, Missouri died Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his home.
He was born October 12, 1935 to William and Opal (Stephens) Bennett in Lock Springs, Missouri.
He married Cecelia Bernice Woody on May 22, 1953 in Gallatin. Missouri. She survives of the home.
Charles proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a truck driver for Dawn Food Products for seventeen years until retiring in 2001.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Walter and Alan; and sister, Nancy.
Additional Survivors: daughters, Barbara Foster (Lonnie), Kansas City, Missouri, Sally Gray, Gallatin, Missouri, Mary Webb (Rick), Kansas City, Missouri, and Carol Dowell (Nick), Holt, Missouri; brother, James Bennett (Shirley Jo), South Carolina; sisters, Mildred Gilbert, Hamilton, Missouri and Shirley Youngs (Richard), Cameron, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services and Inurnment: at a later date, Higginsville Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri. Mr. Bennett was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service.
