Carole M. Vail, 60, Kansas City, Missouri, died Friday, July 21, 2006 at St. Lukes Hospital.
Born August 14, 1945, in High Wycombe, England. She resided in Kansas City, most of her life. She married Richard Lee Vail December 27, 1980 who survives of the home. She had worked as a receptionist.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mavis Rose (Goodchild) Messenger, sister Patricia Stone, and grandparents Roland and Evanell Palmer.

Messenger and wife Mary of Kansas City, MO; two daughters Michelle Chambers and Christy Mersman of Kansas City; one step son Rick Vail of Lathrop, Mo; two brothers Richard Messenger of Sedalia, Lee Messenger of Kansas City, MO; step sister Teresa Jones Kansas City, MO; three step brothers Danny, Justin, and Jim Soliz all of Kansas City, MO; 8 grandchildren Kim, Erin, Kristen Chambers, Joshua Barnes, Emily, Jesse, Jacob Mersman all of Kansas City, MO, Ellie and Aaron Vail of Lathrop, MO; one great grandchild Reuben Jimenze.
The Family will receive friends 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Saturday July 29, 2006 at Park Hill Christian Church. The Family suggests memorial gifts to Human Society of Greater Kansas City or American Cancer Association.
