Carol Sue Anderson Clubb
1936-2017
Carol Sue Anderson Clubb, 80, died peacefully on February 7, 2017 at Pleasant Valley Manor, Sedan, KS after many years of struggling with Alzheimer's.
Carol was born December 25, 1936, in St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Harry A. Anderson (Red) and Marjorie Louise Bradford.
Carol was a 1954 graduate of Lafayette High School in St. Joseph, Missouri. She thoroughly enjoyed her cats, reading, embroidery & crocheting. She loved the outdoors and liked to tell stories of fishing and hunting with her dad growing up.
Carol’s mother also gave her tap dancing lessons and she was in several dance recitals at school. She always loved to dance and sing.
Carol retired from the State of Missouri after over 13 years of dedicated service working in social services. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
She also had faith in God and attended church throughout her life.
Carol is survived by daughters, Debra Renne Holman, Diana Louis Holman, Donna Kaye Kilgore; son, David Mark Hunt; and sister, Linda Voelker; 6 grandchildren, Charles, Christopher, Stephanie, Jordynn, Kaitlin, Reese; and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and inurnment 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 3137 Beck Rd, St. Joseph, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
