Carl G. Sisk
1955 - 2007
Carl G. Sisk, 52, Savannah, Missouri, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at his residence following a courageous battle.
Mr. Sisk was born February 19, 1955, in St. Joseph, Missouri. He married Okie L. Vandever December 1, 1990. She survives of the home.
He was a Freight Driver for seven years and was an over the road truck driver for Missouri Nebraska Express for ten years.
Mr. Sisk was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lucile (Hunter) Sisk; his son, Carl "C.J." Sisk, Jr.; and his sister, Alma Lou Sisk.
He was a member of the Blind Association and Labor Union Local #579.
(Survivors:) step-son, Terry Nelson of St. Joseph; two brothers, Jerry Sisk of Arizona and Larry Sisk of Oregon; two sisters, Barbara West of Savannah and Janet Roberts of Elwood, Kansas; and numerous nieces , nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date to be announced. Mr. Sisk has been cremated under the direction of Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Carl G. Sisk Memorial Fund c/o US Bank of St. Joseph.
