1940-2018

Ronald S. Diven, 77, Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Cameron, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at home.
He was born April 15, 1940 in Hamilton, Missouri to Stuart and Hazel (Hinds) Diven.
Ronald married Barbara Gentry August 30, 1963; she preceded him in death.
He was a supervisor at Bayer in the Science Department before retiring.
Ronald was very patriotic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, trivia, and traveling with his wife. Ronald loved his grandchildren and spending time with family.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Harold Diven.
Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Crooks (Jim), Lori Taylor, Stacy Pitre (Randall); grandchildren, Cameron and Cassie Crooks, Paul and Emily Taylor (Jacob), Katie and Christopher Pitre; and sister, Sara Bunch.
Celebration of Life Service 12:00 to 3:00 P.M. Saturday, St. James Lutheran Church, 1104 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to NorthCare Hospice & Palliative Care. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
