Patricia A. Benson, 79, Hiawatha, Kansas died Monday, May 28 2012 at Maple Heights, Hiawatha, Kansas.
She was born November 7, 1932 to John David and Mable Edna Louise (Kleckinger) Lentz in Iowa Point, Kansas.
She married Otto Ennis Benson December 11, 1951.
Mrs. Benson retired from Justice Manufacturing as a press operator.
Patricia was a Christian who was very selfless; she raised her siblings after her mother passed.
She was a very talented artist who loved to paint; she made over 600 porcelain dolls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Arthur Lentz.
Survivors: her husband, Hiawatha, Kansas; two daughters, Julie Meyer (Rick), Topeka, Kansas and Laura Jeschke (Rick), Troy, Kansas; and two sons, Jim Benson (Janice), Hiawatha, Kansas and John Benson (Nancy), Lawrence, Kansas; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Lentz (Patty); sister, Dixie Zirkle (Larry); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Benson was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service. The Family suggests memorial gifts to NEK Hospice, 116 N. 6th Street, Hiawatha, Kansas 66434 or Iowa Point Cemetery, 2171 Dove Creek Rd., Highland, Kansas 66035.
