Olcott "Rocky" Williams
1924-2015
Olcott "Rocky" Williams, 91, Independence, Missouri passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
He was born March 3, 1924 in Stafford, Connecticut.
Rocky proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. In his earlier years he worked as a salesman and later owned and operated Rocky's Hardware Store in Diamond Bar, California.
He volunteered at the Mariposa County Jail as a Christian Counselor and was a member of the Mariposa Christian Fellowship.
Rocky was preceded in death by the mother of his children and wife of 27 years, Helen (Krutzler); wife, Karen; parents, Myron and Helen (Roshat) Williams; and sister, Jean Abbott.
Survivors include sons, Bruce Williams and his wife, Evangelina, Scott Williams and his wife, Victoria, John Williams and his wife Lori, and Myron Williams and his wife, Cheryl; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
