She was born March 30, 1959 in Denver, CO to Hans Scherk and Julia Richardson.
Katheryn was a receptionist at Kansas City Cardiology.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her daughters, LuAnn Tincher (Eric), Lyndon, KS, Velvet Endecott (Keith), Oak Grove, MO; son, Christopher Smith (Angela), Sugar Creek, MO; grandchildren, Emma Etherton, Trystan Pringle, Kaitlyn Pringle, Matthew and Elizabeth Tincher, Colten Tincher, Dylan Hall, Jayson Hall, Dalton Endecott, Carly Endecott, Alexandria Smith, Jackson Bailey, Ryan Smith; great grandchildren, Conner Tincher, Hallie Endecott, Carson Tincher; sisters, Judy Gladbach, Cheryl Barnes, Brenda Scherk, Teresa Scherk; brothers, Ken Hood, Joel Hood, John Hood, Charles Hood and numerous nieces and nephews.
