Garry D. Wise, 62, Kingston, Missouri, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at his home.
Born August 9, 1941 in Yuba City, California, Mr. Wise had resided in Kingston, Missouri. For 22 years he had worked as a maintenance mechanic for Worlds of Fun.
On May 17, 1965 he married Linda L. Hill in Wichita, Kansas. She survives of the home.
During the Vietnam War he served in the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Trubie and Neal Wise.
Mr. Wise was a member of Southevans Christian Church and enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, golf and bowling.
(Additional Survivors:) two daughters, Lisa Hertzog and Vonda LaPiana both of Hamilton, Missouri; grandchildren, Kelli Hertzog, Kevin Hertzog, Joseph LaPiana, Matthew LaPiana and Nikki LaPiana all of Hamilton, Missouri; four sisters, Betty Siemer, Spickard, Missouri, Deloris Little, Trenton, Missouri, Patty Urton, Hermitage, Missouri, Donna Littrell, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and a brother, Bill Wise, Leesburg, Florida.
Mr. Wise was a member of Missouri Cremation Services. Mr. Wise has been cremated.
