1933-2014
Jo Anne Baker, 81, Kansas City, Missouri died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at North Care Hospice in North Kansas City, Missouri.
She was born March 13, 1933 to Charles and Lucille Bonette in Kansas City, Missouri.
She married Alan "J" Baker on May 2, 1953. He survives of the home.
Jo Anne worked at the Oakwood Manor Elementary School as an office clerk from 1980 to present.
She was a member of North Cross United Methodist Church and a Girl Scout leader for many years.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert Bonette.
Additional Survivors: children, Pennifer McNellis (Vince), Candyce O'Donnell (Anson), A. John Baker (Lana), Gene Baker (Jennifer) and Alana Pierce (Greg); sixteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Andrea Bonette.
Memorial Services: 4P.M. Saturday, October 25, 2014, North Cross United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the JoAnne Baker Memorial Scholarship fund c/o Jan Lewis, Education Fund Director, North Kansas City Schools, 2000 NE 46 St. KCMO 64116.
